Pieter qualified as a Orthodontist in 1985 at the University of Pretoria. He completed his MChD in 1992 and moved to the UK. He worked as an associate in St Albans from 1993 and became principal of the same practice in 1998. He founded Harpenden Orthodontic Practice in 1999.

He is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics. Pieter trained with Dr Dwight Damon, the inventor of the Damon system. He is a well known international speaker and has lectured extensively worldwide.

Pieter is an accomplished private pilot in his spare time. He is married with 3 children.

Lorinda qualified an a general dentist in 1991 at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She moved to the UK in 1992 and worked as an associate dentist in Bishop's Stortford. She always had a special interest in orthodontics. Lorinda specialised in orthodontics at Guys Hospital in London and
Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. She received her Masters in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburg in 2001.

Lorinda is co-principal in St Albans Orthodontic practice. She founded Bishop's Stortford Orthodontic Practice in 1996 and Cambridge Orthodontic Practice in 2003. She is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics and also a member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Lorinda is married to an orthodontist and they have 3 children in 3 years.
